Once it seemed less modern than coastal cities, but now it is one of the main high-tech, educational and financial centers of the country.
For a long time, Wuhan has served as an important transportation hub, as it is located in the middle of the long navigable part of the Yangtze River, between Shanghai and Chongqing.

Shenyang is the capital of the northeastern province of Liaoning. It is known for its status as a leading industrial and commercial center. This is another city that has grown incredibly fast over the past 5 years, being listed in the list of 10 largest cities in China.
Shenyang is also interesting from a historical point of view: in the Manchu period, it had the status of a capital for a short time, and then, in the 20th century, it was part of the Chinese territories occupied by Japanese troops. Shenyang has its own imperial palace, open to the public.
As a result of overpopulation of cities in China, the mental and social gap between the city and the village is widening, exacerbating the situation of the existence of several social systems within the framework of one state. In the countryside, a person continues to be the main productive force; population reduction does not actually occur, since it is unacceptable both for socio-economic reasons and based on traditions. This, however, preserves the low standard of living in the countryside and exacerbates the problem of a lack of arable land. There is a vicious circle "the poorer the more children, the more children, the poorer." Moreover, in poor areas there are many marriages between close relatives, which greatly reduces the quality of the population.
