"Moral realism" is a perspective on international relations that emphasizes power dynamics, asserting that a nation's interests are primarily driven by its ability to exert power. According to this theory, power holds the highest value in national interests. Chinese authorities must acknowledge their international stature as the world's power and assume corresponding responsibilities, particularly in the realm of security, in order to meet those expectations.Yan Xuetong's perspective suggests that the extent of Russian-Chinese economic relations should not prevent the formation of an alliance between them. Simply put, close economic collaboration doesn't guarantee an alliance nor does it eliminate the possibility of hostile relationships. It's possible for both nations to forge military alliances despite lacking economic cooperation, and vice versa.A look into the future brings together the hypotheses, that have already been expressed. The author believes that, compared to the Trump administration, the Chinese authorities will be more successful in reforms and this will help China to narrow the gap with the United States. Within a decade, the world will not find countries capable of accelerating their development to such an extent as to reach the level of China or the United States. Bipolarity will result in a world center of superpower rivalry shifting from Europe to East Asia. The rest of the countries will be spared the need to constantly stand together with the U.S. or China. They would take sides on different issues. U.S. relations with its allies will continue to weaken, and China will continue to avoid providing comprehensive assistance to its supporters for fear of being drawn into war. Therefore, neither the U.S. nor China will be able to claim full global leadership related to the security of smaller countries. The structural conflict of a rising and dominant state means that U.S. and Chinese leadership together is impossible. Conclusion Thus we can conclude, that the importance of moral realism in understanding the development of international relations on the part of China and its actions in international politics, as well as in building relations with this country for the United States.
